Ram Mohan manages to get the reform bill passed and solves the emperor's problems even after being betrayed by the emperor. The hard work takes a toll o his health and he falls ill. But he is not ready to give up before getting the sati bill passed. After a hard struggle he succeeds in banning sati practice before he breathes his last.
