- 2005–TV EpisodeAware that Mariel's birthday is coming up, House A housemates discreetly plan a surprise birthday celebration for her; and with Big Brother's help, they are able to come up with a small gathering by the pool where in they end up feasting over a box of pizza and an enticing chocolate birthday cake. Aside from the party, Big Brother himself prepares a surprise gift for the birthday girl. Since Mariel is pretty open with her longing for her kid, Paul Asher, Big Brother lets her take a peek at a short video clip of the said child. To Mariel's surprise, she gets pretty emotional upon catching a glimpse of her son; she couldn't be more thankful for Big Brother's pleasant surprise present. On the other hand, Big Brother finally reveals this week's weekly task entitled "O-versus." The said competition is a friendly one-versus-one game; and for the first event, Big Brother holds a match which requires great sense of balance while riding a pair of kadang-kadang or stilts. Aside from balance, the second match called "Gerahan," on the other hand, also requires agility. While balancing over a small island on the pool, each pair of warring housemates are to tug their corresponding opponents with the mere use of their palms. Surprisingly, House B bags a back-to-back win this week. Does this mean game over, or will House B housemates redeem themselves in the forthcoming days?
- 2005–TV EpisodeThe competition is growing pretty tough between the two warring houses. After the second match for this week's "O-versus," House A and House B's conflict grow more apparent than before. With regard Yuri and Carol's controversial one-on-one match, certain issues failed to remain unnoticed. In House A, Carol of House B's sensitivity has been their constant topic. Yuri herself admits, though she feels for the timid young lady, that she is somehow annoyed with Carol's constant emotional outbursts. On the other hand, while the other house's housemates continuously criticize Carol's weakness, House B tries releasing their angst by comically mimicking Yuri. Aside from Carol and Yuri's match, Melissa and Jason's head-to-head battle also raised another point of conflict between House A and House B. On the game itself, it is apparent on Tibo's action that he is very much displeased on how Jason let Melai break his defenses down through humor; but despite the said circumstances, the "Melason" love team seems to be growing pretty strong--most especially now that Jason is finally being vocal with his feelings for Melai. With their very first family hour on its way, Jason is working pretty hard to make it a special one. Inside the confession room, he humbly seeks for Big Brother's help to make his special plans for Melai come true. How could Melai and Jason's first date possibly go?
- In order to measure Jason's sincerity towards his feelings for Melai, Big Brother plots a series of tests for the lad. For the first test, Big Brother strictly commands Melai to purposely ignore Jason. Though reluctant with the said task, Melai is left with no other choice but to accept the challenge; so all throughout their "Let's Get Pawis-ikal" match, she tries her best to avoid the lad, which then leaves the latter quite confused, but never disheartened. Aside from the said trial, Big Brother also assigns Tibo and Rica to execute his other series of tests. Since Tibo is a real-life father, Big Brother asks him to stand as Melai's in-house father. Before Jason could push through with his plan to court Melai, Big Brother commands Tibo to initiate a heart-to-heart talk with the lad; and after the said conversation, Tibo ends up pretty convinced that Jason's intention towards Melai is in fact pure. On the other hand, Rica's task somehow deals with the test of Jason's patience. On the execution of the surprise date itself, Rica--the designated "big sister"--prolongs Jason's waiting by insistently telling that Melai does not want to see him. How long could Rica possibly hold Jason down?
- Since Rob and Rica performed a violation in House A by sharing the shower room the other day, Big Brother lays down their rightful consequence-they are to share a giant shower cap all throughout the day. Fortunately, Jason selflessly shows concern for the two, thus convincing Big Brother to cut the said trial short. On the other hand, while Rob and Rica are at the verge of convincing their housemates that they are a couple, Patrick, Kath and Jimson's task in House B seems to be getting harder than they thought. To further convince everyone about Patrick and Kath's relationship, Big Brother stages a wedding anniversary for the posing couple. And in line with the said occasion, he asks all the housemates in House B to make the so-called married couple's day a very special one. The girls in House B grow pretty excited with their given task; but in contrast, the said job makes it harder for Jimson to maintain his cover. Unfortunately, even the very special Jacuzzi break Big Brother gave him is not enough to calm his nerves. His jealousy has finally taken over him, thus causing him to unstoppably raise a heated argument with his real-life wife Kath. Could Jimson hold back his emotions up until the end of the week?
- Patrick and Kath's sweetness finally gets into Jimson's nerves, so he ends up submitting to his true emotions. For his supposed anniversary message for the celebrating couple, he tries reconstructing a story to impart his personal message as a husband to Kath. Given that the topic has already been opened, Kath then tries giving out a heartfelt reply on the matter. Unfortunately, she accidentally slips by uttering Jimson's name, instead of Patrick's, while referring to her husband; and to everyone's surprise, Jimson finally takes the said opportunity to step up and admit the truth to their housemates, because he claims that he couldn't take it anymore. And since their failure to accomplish the task means no weekly budget for the following week, Patrick couldn't help but feel extremely disappointed, not only to himself, but also for the couple. How long would this apparent rift between Patrick and the real-life couple last?
- After Jimson and Kath blew their cover, it is already given that House B will not be receiving a budget for the following week. Aware of the given situation, Patrick stands out by pleading for another chance to Big Brother. Surprisingly, Big Brother agrees to the said proposition. He generously offers 50% of the original budget to House B in exchange for a special task: Patrick has to stand still on a cart for 12 straight hours. And despite all the hardships, Patrick successfully accomplishes the given task, thus leaving everyone in House B truly thankful to their new housemate. On the other hand, Rob's mock proposal finally takes place. And to Rica's surprise, she accidentally kisses the lad right at the corner of his lips. Unfortunately, the said event instantly makes Rob pretty anxious. Now, what is up next for the posing couple inside one of Big Brother's House?
- Since Rob's proposal is a success, Big Brother further strengthens Rob and Rica's mock relationship by asking some of the couple's family and friends to impart their messages to the newly engaged couple. Together with their housemates, Rob and Rica amusedly watch the clips which Big Brother provided them. And in contrast to Rica's extreme delight with the said surprise, Rob is pretty anxious with the astonishing demonstration. That same day, Big Brother finally decides to put an end on Rob's suffering. In front of all the housemates, he officially recognizes the accomplishment of Rica and Rob's task for the week. Upon hearing the declaration, Rob couldn't help but release a sigh of relief, which completely catches all their housemates off guard. On the other hand, it seems that Rica is not quite as happy as Rob to have finished the task. Rica openly shares that she is somehow missing all the cuddling with her now ''ex-boyfriend'' Rob. How could Rica cope up with this sudden change of situation? Who will be the first group of housemates up for nomination this season?
- 2005–TV Episode
- Big Brother plays the recorded reactions of House A housemates after hearing about House B' recently accomplished weekly task; and upon hearing it, the latter group couldn't help but grow pretty dismayed. Sadly, they find the other House's comments rather harsh-most especially their remark about Rica. And in order to cheer their somehow belittled housemate, Delio immediately stands up in Rica's defense, and surprisingly the other housemates followed suit. To further heighten up the existing competition, Big Brother finally reveals his third weekly task, which involves group dancing and, shockingly, taking the housemates' clothes off. Everyone is caught by surprise upon hearing of the said task. But fortunately for them, Big Brother generously gives them several alternatives to choose from. For those housemates who refuse to take everything off, Big Brother settles on leaving them with two other choices: it is either they wear a T-back or a skin-tone body stocking for cover. For each housemate who will wear a T-back, there will be additional 20 points on their current 100 base points as a group. And for each housemate who has the guts to go ''all the way,'' Big Brother generously offers additional 50 points. Currently, House A has accumulated a total of 430, while House B takes pride of their 420 points. Will the said statistics change in the upcoming days? Who among the housemates will have the courage to take it all off in the name of victory? How will this weekly task possibly go?
- 2005–TV EpisodeIn line with the celebration of United Nation's Week, Big Brother asks a representative from each house to pay their corresponding neighboring house a visit. To perform the said task, Carol is chosen to be House B's ambassador, while Princess does the honor for House B. Despite their existing grudge against the housemates in House A, everyone in House B warmly welcomes their visitor. Since she had met Carol before, Melissa does the necessary introduction. Upon learning a bit about their guest, all the housemates gladly take her to a tour around the house as they subtly brag about their fully-loaded refrigerator. On the other hand, Princess barely receives a similar welcome. Aside from Tom's warm hug, everything else in House B happens to be ice-cold. Incidentally, the girls in House A couldn't help but feel detached from her. Aside from being totally intimidated by her overwhelming personality, they couldn't help but think that she is a possible spy from the other group, longing to snoop around their preparations for their weekly task. Could this growing competition further worsen the existing gap between House A and House B?
- 2005–TV EpisodeUpon Princess' return in House A, she openly shares the unwelcoming treatment she experienced in House B. Without any hesitation, she tells them how much they missed them, because as far as she is concerned, House A is much homier than the other house. On the other hand, Carol's comeback in House A triggers a heated conversation regarding their former visitor. Despite the exciting news Carol brought home after her so called "24-hour undercover work," Yuri couldn't hold herself from exclaiming her opinion about Princess; and the other girls follow suit. Upon hearing their comments for the first time, Tom couldn't help but feel a little upset and disappointed with some of his housemates. Now that the two ambassadresses' task has finally come to an end, Big Brother assigns two new ambassadors to carry on the same task, namely, Jason and Jimson. Right after Jason left, his House A housemates finally start laying down their problems with him. Delio heads the said discussion by enumerating all of Jason's alleged misdeeds inside their house. Surprisingly, most of the boys in House A happen to agree that Jason is in fact the most selfish housemate among the bunch. In the midst of the open forum, the girls, headed by Melissa, try taking the secluded lad's side. And in order to further defend him, they try talking the boys out of their extreme hatred, but unfortunately, to no avail. Will all of them settle the said conflict before the Eviction Night or will it only worsen in the upcoming days?
- It seems that Jason actually enjoyed his stay in House B. Aside from gaining new friends, he also ends up gaining a new admirer. Surprisingly, Mariel gets pretty attracted to the lad. The young lady is an admitted sucker for bad boys, so she confesses to Big Brother that she couldn't help but easily fall for Jason's charms. Upon Jason's return in House A, their group starts practicing for their weekly task. Unfortunately, excessive giggling and lack of concentration holds them back from perfecting their moves, which also ends up triggering a rather unexpected conflict. While Princess is reiterating their choreography, she notices that Delio keeps on interrupting her. She tries raising the said observation to the lad's attention in a calm manner, but somehow he ends up ignoring her, so she grows pretty irritated. Up until the end of their practice, the two involved party couldn't help but hold a grudge against each other. Will this unresolved clash manifest on their presentation tomorrow?
- 2005–TV EpisodeThe night before the performance day, Big Brother speaks with the housemates regarding their corresponding costumes for their fan-dance presentation. On the said conversation, some housemates remain firm with their decision, while others end up changing their minds after hearing what their families have to say. When the day that all the housemates have been waiting for finally arrived, most of them are surprised to discover that their expected cumulative points enormously decreased. From their estimated 430 points, House A ended up having a final count of 350 due to certain circumstances. But despite their dismay, they decide to push through with what they have left anyway. In contrast, upon learning that their still unidentified housemates have had a change of heart, House B finally decides to let go of all their inhibitions for the sake of their team. They all agree to wear skin-toned body stockings with only the basic 100 points to spare. With House A's 350 points versus House B's 100, could the latter beat the odds of this friendly competition?

- 2005–TV EpisodePrincess performs a major violation inside Big Brother's House B, thus immediately causing her automatic nomination for eviction this week. Unfortunately, Big Brother caught her red-handed speaking of her opinion regarding the nomination process. Luckily, Princess is given another chance to prove her stay inside the house with the help of her housemates; but surprisingly, she refuses to take the said offer. Instead pursuing her chance through her housemates' initiative, she courageously takes the consequence of her actions by instantly suggesting her final decision to voluntarily exit. On the other hand, House A faces the same dilemma. Apparently, Big Brother also caught Mariel and Yhel guilty of the same crime. In line with the said incident, Big Brother offers the same bargain to the said house, which all of their housemates clearly accepted without any hesitation. And just as Big Brother promised, Mariel is instantly saved from this week's eviction night after House A housemates successfully performs the task he has given them. Sadly, he only offered one slot of salvation in the said house, thus leaving Yhel with no other choice but to spend the rest of the week worrying about her possible eviction this coming Saturday. Could Yhel survive this rather unexpected trial?
- To make his boarders' stay a little more interesting, Big Brother finally decides on performing a house swap. With only their undergarments and toiletries at hand, all the housemates in House A are sent to live indefinitely in House B, and vice versa. Upon reaching their new household, the new House A housemates couldn't help but feel excited about their new swimming pool. After browsing for wet suits from the closets of the house's original residents, they instantly jump in the pool to pass time. Aside from switching houses, Big Brother also offers switching of members. Since the new House A members are mostly girls, Kuya tries balancing the competition by offering them a chance to pick a male housemate from the other team. After reviewing all the male housemates' strengths and weaknesses, House A girls unanimously pick Paul Jake. Unfortunately, in line with the said offer, Big Brother fails to initially discuss the catch. In order to get Paul Jake into their team, House A girls need to accomplish a task first; before the sun rises, they have to put two kiss marks on the lad's forehead, unnoticed. Could the girls successfully carry out the said task and have Paul Jake as their newest member, or will they be getting Rob as their new housemate as a consequence of their failure?
- Unfortunately, House A girls fail their task after Paul Jake himself caught them sneakily opening House B boys' bedroom; so they end up getting Rob as their new housemate, instead of the former lad who is actually their first choice. And in order to obtain their new member, Yuri and Patria are asked to go over the other house the following morning; they are actually requested to put 2 kiss marks on Rob's face as they finally ask him to pack his things up. In exchange for their new male housemate, House A is also required to let one of their own go. Incidentally, House B has finally chosen Carol to take Rob's place in their household, so Paul Jake and Tibo drop by their neighboring house to pick her up right after Rob bid them goodbye. Upon Carol's departure, her former housemates couldn't help but talk about her, and her noticeable attraction towards Hermes, while they are busy finishing their weekly task. And surprisingly, the said casual conversation ends up striking another major violation inside Big Brother's House. The one who committed the said violation is no other than Yhel. Unfortunately, she somehow joked about nominating Hermes for eviction, which immediately caught Big Brother's attention. Since this is already her third major offense, Big Brother finally takes serious actions regarding the matter; sadly, Yhel has to face a forced eviction as a consequence of her so called carelessness.
- 2005–TV EpisodeIn line with the upcoming Big Swap, Big Brother engages all his housemates to a somewhat practice-interview. Incidentally, he had hired con-artists to play the roles of Big Brother executive producers abroad to perform the said duty. Basically clueless that it is a mere mock interview, all the housemates eagerly try their best to impress the so called executives not only with their English language proficiency, but also with their practical reasoning skills. Aside from the said interview, Big Brother also asks the housemates to prepare individual short-commercials that will showcase their exceptional qualities; and this time, it is for "the real" Big Brother executives from a foreign country. As to the task, all the housemates pour out all their creative juices to come up with the most alluring advertisements as possible in exchange for a chance to pay one of Big Brother's Houses outside the country a visit. Apparently, one lucky housemate is bound to spend some time in Big Brother's House at Finland. Now the question remains: "who could it possibly be?"
- Based on the personal commercials they have submitted, the Big Brother executives from Finland were able to pull out 10 Big Swap finalists from Pinoy Big Brother Double Up housemates. The lucky contenders for the said big event are no other than Rica, Yuri, Paul Jake, Hermes, Cathy, Marielle, Tibo, Tom, Patria and Melissa. Among the ten, only one will be chosen to take the big trip; and in order to conclude the match, all of them are required to take part in the final qualifying stage-a mini-pageant entitled "The Search for Pinoy Big Brother Swap Representative." Just like any other pageant, all the ten finalists strut their ways down the runway to formally introduce themselves; and after that, they gladly put their swimsuits on to flaunt their truly voluptuous bodies. Aside from their physical attributes, they also get a chance to demonstrate their remarkable talents to the Finnish housemates as they individually take the stage to show off what they have. From ten, the candidates are instantly cut to 5; and the said top 5 housemates are Melissa, Hermes, Patria, Tibo and Cathy. In order to battle for the Top 3 positions, the said housemates face the very much awaited question and answer portion. And for the said phase, each housemate is given a Filipino proverb which they are required to elaborate in English. Surprisingly, out of the top 5, Hermes Melissa and Cathy stand out to take the higher three slots. And given the Finnish Big Brother executives' choice, it has been decided that the nurse from Bohol, Cathy, will be the one representing our country in Big Brother Finland any time soon.
- 2005–TV EpisodeLast October 28, Kuya halted voting for the housemate nominees after deciding to evict Yhel from his house after violating a major rule regarding nominations. From October 25 to October 28, the nominations received a total of 46,268 votes. ABS-CBN's share from the revenues, which amounted to P24,880 will be donated to Sagip Kapamilya to help Typhoon Ondoy and Peping's victims. After Kuya's scare last night because of Halloween, the housemates have to once again put on a brave face and face their fear of the nomination announcement. Three nominees came from House A and two from House B. In House A, Mariel got nominated (five votes) because of being too sensitive. The housemates also nominated Patrick (four votes) because of his being too mature and serious at times. Tom, on the other hand, got nominated (five votes) because of being too insensitive. House B on the other hand nominated Delio (ten votes) because of his stubbornness and Jason (seven votes) for not being productive on their task. Meanwhile Cathy is on her way to Finland. Will she make Kuya proud?
- Episode: (2009)2005–TV Episode
- House A heartily welcomes their new housemate, Kätlin; and in line with the said celebration, Big Brother gives them sumptuous Filipino dishes to munch on. After dinner, they all proceed to the pool area for a rather cozy luau party, which the envious housemates from House B couldn't help but over hear. Since alcoholic drinks freely overflow all through out their bash, Rob and Marielle end up getting extremely drunk; and with the two intoxicated housemates getting pretty uncontrollable, some House A housemate couldn't help but feel a little irritated up until they have all gone to bed to call the night off. Speaking of beds, Cathy comes across with a rather shocking revelation. To her surprise, she discovers that Big Brother Finland only has one huge bed to share with everyone in the house. Upon learning this, she openly explains how Pinoy Big Brother House actually separates girls' bedroom from boys'; a quite intriguing revelation for all the Finnish housemates, most especially for her new admirer, Aso. Given the cultural barrier, and the extremely different arrangement, how could Cathy possibly keep up with her new set of housemates?
- Big Brother transfers Kätlin to House B; and in line with her friendly visit to the neighboring home, she personally cooks her favorite Finnish dish called "plov" for her new hosts to indulge. And since the main component of the said dish is rice and meat, her new housemates truly enjoy the delectable meal she prepared. Aside from their visitor's unexpected arrival, another unforeseen event takes place in House B. Incidentally, their supposed practice for the cultural presentation tomorrow turns out to be the trigger of another dispute inside their household. Yet again, Delio loses his temper after some housemate falls short on following their dance steps. While he takes the initiative to lead their flock, he couldn't help but notice some member smirking with dismay, so finally he gives out a sarcastic comment before actually deciding to silently walk out of the scene. With another misunderstanding at large, could House B housemates redeem themselves from their lost during the previous weekly task with their assigned cultural presentation for tomorrow?
- In order to make House B housemates' welcome party for Kätlin a little more special, Big Brother gives them a chance to prepare a cozy Jacuzzi party; and in line with the said occasion, he generously provides them with bottles of vodka and tuba, together with some of our country's well-known street food. In the midst of their small get-together, Delio ends up having a little more than he can drink. After their party, Delio suddenly decides to pack all his things and head towards the door. He keeps on insisting that he wants to go home right then and there; fortunately, Paul Jake is there to stop the emotional lad, and talk him out of the abrupt decision he could probably regret in the future. The following morning, Big Brother summons Delio in the confession room to talk about his sentiments; but the lad refuses to speak. He simply tells Big Brother that the alcohol could have triggered his great longing to see his family, thus leading to such an irrational action. On the other hand, Kätlin is finally sent back to House A that same morning. Upon her arrival in her original foster home, she couldn't help but demonstrate her longing to see her most favored housemate, Hermes; and to everyone's shock, the lad seems to be pretty receptive of the said actions. Is this just a mere display of warm friendship, or is it a start of something a little notch higher than that? If it is the latter, then how could Carol possibly take this said condition?
- The day of the cultural show has come; and on the said event, all the housemates put on their best smiles as they flaunt the presentations they have prepared all throughout the week. Aside from the mere experience of Filipino culture's richness, Kätlin also gets a chance to be swooned off her feet with Hermes' heartfelt serenade. After the said event, all the housemates are caught in surprise with Big Brother's unexpected announcement. On the said reveal, Big Brother gladly informs them that their cultural presentations have nothing to do with their weekly task. Incidentally, their budget for next week lies merely in their visiting housemate's hands. Basically, Kätlin has to choose which group demonstrated the most welcoming atmosphere these past few days. Kätlin claims that it is in fact a hard decision to make; but after giving it much thought, she firmly handpicks House A. And in the said house, she spends her last day before flying back to Finland. Sadly, Katlin will not be the only housemate destined to leave PBB House this week. One among Delio, Mariel, Jason, Tom and Patrick has to head his or her way out for good; and it will finally be decided tomorrow.
- 2005–TV Episode
- The housemates are still reeling from BB Finland's Katlin's departure and Delio's eviction last night when they had to face Toni Gonzaga's announcement of the season's fourth set of nominees. Due to the tie in votes, six housemates' stay are on the line this week, with two coming from House A and four coming from House B. After more than a month together, it looks like the housemates' true personalities are starting to show. In House A, Yuri got nominated for being asleep all the time (five votes) while Tom is beginning to get on his housemates' nerves for being too bossy and opinionated at times (six votes). In House B, Tibo and Paul Jake got the most nominations (five votes each). The two were nominated by their housemates because they felt Tibo and Paul Jake missed their loved ones outside the house.
