- Lt Kang leads an attack on a village that has been occupied by the North Korean soldiers during the beginning of the Korean War. Kim Hong-kil, a teenager, at first fiercely resists Kang but eventually comes to realize that the propaganda spread by the communist soldiers has poisoned his mind against his would-be saviours
