Louis XIV is able to alert D'Artagnan, who realizes that only his friends Athos, Porthos, and Aramis can help him, so he reunites the Musketeers to derail Rochefort's nefarious plot but at a heavy toll.

Three years later, Arden meets Packy again and is torn between love for him and love for her son with Tommy.

This gets him publicity and Lee Renny offers him his car to drive in the Indianapolis 500. Bill breaks with Mac to drive the car and puts it on the pole for the race. Then Renny double crosses Bill and drives the car himself since Bill has tuned it so well.

Each starts to play what they consider sly games of oneupsmanship with each other to gain the upper hand in the marriage.
