- Barney Bear runs afoul of a foul-smelling skunk who wants to steal his berries.
- Depressed by the antics of the other ghosts, Casper leaves home to make friends. After unintentionally scaring several potential pals, Casper befriends two young children. They take him home, where Casper frightens their mother. Casper is again upset because he believes that he will always scare away his potential buddies. However, Casper scares away a banker who is coming to foreclose on the woman's house, and this wins her heart for Casper.
- Jerry Mouse gets tired of living the country life and decides to head to the big city. However, the experience doesn't turn out quite like Jerry had expected.
- The bulldog wants to take a nap. Tom wants to chase Jerry around the house. Naps and noise don't mix, and so the bulldog threatens Tom to keep quiet or else.
- While golfing, Tom puts Jerry to work as a tee, but Jerry intentionally messes things up.
- Tom invites Toots to an elegant dinner. However, he's made the mistake of trying to put Jerry to work, as a serving boy, a corkscrew, and other tasks. Jerry puts up with a little of this, but mostly gets revenge on Tom, mostly involving the tip of Tom's tail, which ends up in a sandwich, inside a dessert, and in a candle-holder. Meanwhile, Toots isn't too happy about Tom getting fresh with her. There's a chase, of course, featuring Tom stabbing a turkey while Jerry, safely outside, makes sounds of pain. Tom ends up with his tail stuck up like a mast as Jerry paints "S.S. Drip" on his side and Toots launches him into the punchbowl with a bottle of champagne.
- A bashful buzzard has a hard time keeping up with the rest of his siblings when it comes to bringing back food.

- The Wolf rides into town, terrorises it, kidnaps the girl, and is chased by the outraged townspeople, accompanied by Droopy, who despite introducing himself as "the hero" at the end, in fact barely features in this one - but connoisseurs of Tex Avery wolves will have a field day.
- Donald has a date with Daisy, but no money. He raids his nephews' piggy bank, but his guilty conscience catches up with him.
- A $5,000 reward is put out for the capture of a notorious wolf. Two of the wanted posters are put on the trees where the Fox and the Crow live. When they see the posters, each thinks the other is the wanted one, and they try to capture each other for the reward money. After many attempts, they end up at a police station where their mistake is pointed out to them. They then punish themselves profusely for making the error. Re-released theatrically in 1956.
- As a surveyor, Elmer Fudd is disturbing Bugs Bunny's peace. So Bugs harasses Fudd, who is also trying to get revenge.
- Bored with chasing Red Riding Hood, the Wolf decides to go after Cinderella, but her fairy godmother takes a shine to him instead - and has an arsenal of magical powers to help achieve her ends.
- Porky leads a wagon train into "Injun Joe Territory," and finally comes up against the fearsome Superchief. But Sloppy Moe, a survivor of a previous Injun Joe attack, knows something about him he won't tell... until the very end.
- This starts off as an adaptation of Robert Service's poem 'The Shooting of Dan McGrew', complete with a literal depiction of a man with one foot in the grave, but when Dan McGoo turns out to be Droopy, it turns into another Droopy-versus-the Wolf gagfest.
- Bugs Bunny tricks Elmer Fudd into believing his house has been quarantined for something called "rabbititus."
- Donald Duck becomes a suspect in a whodunit of his own imagination.
- This adaptation of the famous fairy tale finds Jasper trading Scarecrow his jaw harp harmonica for a handful of beans.
- Wally Walrus kicks the delinquent Woody Woodpecker out of his boarding house. But the mooching bird finds the walrus's personal ad in the newspaper and comes back, disguised as a woman.
- Daffy Duck hears a duckling crying, arousing Daffy, so he asks the duckling why he is so sad. The duckling is short-tempered and cried, until the hunter succeeded in stealing the satchel reads a note finding out why the duckling is so sad.
- In his master's eyes, "good old Shep" is the perfect dog, but the cat knows he's really a two-faced mutt who can be bought off with a bone by a burglar, and then take credit for it when the cat chases the crook off. But then Shep becomes obsessed by a newspaper story proclaiming a real canine hero the nation's "No. 1 Dog."
- Woody is hungry because all the restaurants are closed; and when he sees a place that stuffs birds, he goes there - only to learn he's gone to a taxidermist.
- Big game hunter Goofy is riding his trusty elephant in search of a tiger. Unfortunately, while they are stopped for lunch, the tiger finds them, and soon enough, Goofy is separated from his rifle. The tiger toys with the goof for a while, then peels off the sole of one shoe and heads for the foot. Meanwhile, Goofy's been preparing a hotfoot for his tormentor, which gets him a small head start on the chase that follows. After a fair bit of chasing, Goofy's elephant comes to the rescue.
- Screwy Squirrel is pursued by a truant officer.
- Popeye sights land, disembarks from his raft and enters a café. He orders a meal, which the manager is glad to give him as he is a cannibal chef. Before long, Popeye finds in a large pot being cooked for dinner for a cannibal tribe. Popeye thinks this may be harmful to his health...and pops open a can of spinach.
- Sylvester is determined to get a woodpecker that just moved in, high in a tree. He climbs, but the bird greases the tree; he starts to cut it down, but a mean dog stops him (this becomes a running gag). Several other attempts follow; at one point, he puts his paw into the bird's home, and the bird puts a tomato there; Sylvester squishes it, and the bird dresses as an angel to torment him, but Sylvester sees through the disguise. Finally, Sylvester tries to blow up the tree; the dog again intervenes. Sylvester gets the dynamite off the tree and puts out the fuses, but the bird has lit them again, and now Sylvester really becomes an angel.
- A Pilgrim ventures out to procure a turkey for the first Thanksgiving.
- A narrator tells the story of how the Western pioneers (all being Goofy lookalikes) are travelling in covered wagons across the frontier. They run into some Indians (who are also Goofy lookalikes) and battle breaks out between them. Suddenly a tornado comes by and sweeps up the covered wagons, dropping them into various states such as "Wash", "Organ", and "Californy."
- The boys see lovely nurse Olive pass by and follow her to her hospital. She throws them out, so they scheme to hurt themselves enough to get hospitalized, with no luck. Bluto gets a wall to fall on him, but stands in the window. Popeye tries to get run over by a steam-roller, but a street cleaner saves him. Bluto dives off a skyscraper - into a huge pile of mattresses. Popeye stands in a naval gunnery range, but the gunners miss the target. Bluto taunts a bull, but stands next to a billboard of an attractive cow, which distracts the bull. Popeye crashes a plane, but the ambulance crew rescues the plane. The boys compete to get run over by a train, but punch each other off the tracks just as the train arrives. Finally, Popeye forces a can of spinach down Bluto's throat and gets a pounding. That lands him in the hospital but not Olive's; they failed to notice the sign: "Cat and Dog Hospital." They start fighting like cats and dogs, and get hauled off to the looney bin.
- The adventures of a little gaucho who discovers an unusual winged burro in the Pampas of South America.
- Two hockey teams of Goofies play a game that quickly degenerates into a riot.
- Donald Duck shirks his duties while working as a gift wrapper in a department store.
- It is Fiesta Time in a South American country and a young boy and his donkey are celebrating with a young senorita. The boy has to go to bed but his donkey gets him up and they return to the fiesta to find the senorita, but her father is keeping a watchful eye on her.
- A pet duckling grows up to be Daffy. His antics soon grate on the family, culminating in a fencing match at the breakfast table fought with butter knives. But the daughter defends Daffy.
- Goofy narrates his own quest to Africa accompanied by various tour guides. He is in search of wild game. After run-ins with various animals while camping for the night and taking his morning plunge (ruined by a hippo that takes all the water with him when exiting the pool), he sets off in search of the black rhinoceros. Unfortunately for Goofy, the rhino is prepared for Goofy (thanks to a stool pigeon bird resting on his horn) and charges him. Goofy tries his gun against the rhino but the rhino is still to much for Goofy so he leaves Africa and leaves the rhino for other hunters.
- The animated character Careless Charlie comes under attack from microscopic organisms that are carried by flies and mosquitoes. The film proposes solutions and demonstrates how people can protect themselves from this unseen enemy.
- Donald is a park ranger, assigned to protect the giant tree Old Sequoia from a pair of beavers that bear a striking resemblance in their tactics and speech to Chip 'n' Dale.
- The narrator tells Donald the story of Pablo the penguin, who dreamed of moving to a warmer climate. After several false attempts, he makes a boat out of a chunk of ice. All goes well, until he crosses the equator and his boat starts to melt, but he's able to make due with the bathtub he brought along.
- Donald visits Daisy. When he can't open a window, he flies into a rage and practically destroys her house. She won't see him again until he takes care of that temper. He orders a mail-order insult machine, which promises that if Donald can endure 10 minutes of abuse without losing his temper, he'll be cured. It proceeds to deliver physical and verbal abuse, and Donald is cured. He goes back and Daisy tests him on the balky window.
