Julie is a young woman who walks dogs in Paris in her spare time. While walking, she takes shelter in a cafe to escape a rainstorm. In the cafe, she finds a forgotten folder with a math test and a disturbing love letter written by a high school girl to her teacher. Julie frantically embarks on an investigation. She has little time to prevent the worst, because the teenager seems prepared for anything.

In 1999 the legendary band 'Doe Maar' unexpectedly gets together to make one more record and give a number of concerts. The four different members talk about the past and the future, their brotherhood and the reason why they chose this reunion. They are followed in the studio and at the record company all the way to the press conference and stage. The realization of the album and the concert series does not seem to happen automatically and is accompanied by fear and uncertainty.
