- The pursuit of wealth is a power that burns every man in a fiery furnace. and does not allow him to rest anywhere. But the revolutionary blood of youth seeks love. Thus, the powers of wealth and love have always been at odds.
- Aliya's mother asks Uzma whether Aliya likes anyone at the university; Uzma dodges the question with evasive camaraderie. She tells Iqbal that her parents will not agree to this marriage and that she loves him.
- Losses in business have placed Durdana under strain. She believes that getting her daughter married to Iftikhar is the only way to relieve this burden. She talks to Aliya about Iftikhar often, and Aliya acknowledges that she likes Iqbal more and doesn't have a crush on Iftikhar. Iqbal is not acceptable to Durdana. Aliya, however, is of the opinion that life should be spent with the people she loves. Durdana has no intention of accepting this connection.
- When Durdana sees that her daughter is somehow not changing her mind, she goes to Iqbal's house, where she meets Iqbal's sister-in-law. Durdana threatens that if Iqbal does not remove the thought of her daughter from his heart, he will suffer an accidental death. Aliya finds out about this. She meets Iftikhar and tells him that she will not marry him because she likes her classmate.
- When Iqbal tells Aliya that his concern for his widowed sister-in-law prevents him from marrying her. Aliya thinks that everything that happened was a result of her mother's opposition to their relationship. There is a conspiracy at play in either case.
