The act gave some women and all men the right to vote in local and national elections. In years gone by, women were seemed not fit to take the pill, drive a car, vote, have a credit card, use man tools like hammers or drills, or be a soldier in the armed forces. Now you will see women do all these things whilst at the same raising a family.
