Sunil (Sukumaran) comes to Ooty to look for a job and meets Varma Jose Prakash who is a rich businessman and asks for a job. He is turned down but doesn't give up hope. One day he saves Varma's life and earns his trust. Varma takes him home where his sister (Sreevidya) and his daughter Radha stays. Radha is mentally unsound and Sunil's intentions become clear when he tries to take advantage of her. Later it is told by the doctor that the only way Radha can be kept under control is by getting her married. Sunil uses this opportunity and tells Varma that he will marry her. Turns out that the doctor was also a part of Sunil's plan and later on Pradeep who is Varma's nephew also gets on board with the condition that he will be given a share of the assets that Sunil will acquire after killing Radha. Sunil tries to get Radha killed by breaking a bottle on her head. But she is saved and she recovers from her mental illness. But she doesn't remember anything about the incident. The inspector (Janardhanan) smells something fishy and suspects Sunil. After a few days Varma's sister (Sreevidya) is shot dead and the police suspects Sunil. Is Sunil the murderer? Will he succeed in getting rid of Radha and acquire all her wealth? What is the reason behind Sunil's hatred for Varma?

Balu (Madhu) and Yusuf (Prem Nazir) are best friends. They work as fishermen. Mohan (Soman) is a coast guard officer who finds out that Veerendran (Jose Prakash) is the mastermind behind the smuggling activities that take place in the harbor and catches him red-handed. But Veerendran escapes and kills Mohan. Mohan's wife passes away after giving birth to their son. Balu seeks revenge but is helpless and therefore decides to leave his grandson Anand (Mammootty) with his best friend Yusuf. Balu becomes a very wealthy man and Anand grows up to become a fine young man and falls in love with Daisy (Shobana). The family of R.C. Sekharan Thampi, IG of Police (Ummer), was attacked and the lone survivor is his granddaughter. Sudheendran (Prem Nazir), Balachandran (Madhu), and Jayadevan (Jose Prakash) are the officers assigned to catch Bullet Raghavan who is the mastermind behind the killings. Rajan (Shankar) who is the son of Sudheendran is in love with his uncle Balachandran's daughter Sreekala. Raghavan tries to lure Balachandran into working for him, but when his plan fails he approaches Jayadevan. Jayadevan had grudges against Balachandran and found this as the perfect opportunity to get back at him. When Sekharan's assistant catches Jayadevan with Raghavan, they kill him and frame Balachandran. Balan is arrested and since Sudheendran and Sekharan consider the dead assistant's daughter as their own, it is decided that Rajan will marry her. Meanwhile, Raghavan wants his aide Musthafa (Mammootty) back and he wants Jayadevan to help him. He breaks free and as per his orders kidnaps Rajan and Sreekala who marry secretly. In return, Raghavan tells him that it was Jayadevan who killed his wife. Musthafa is filled with rage and walks out to kill Jayadevan. He gets back in time to rescue Sreekala from Raghavan who tries to take advantage of her. Balachandran swears that he won't return home without finding the newlyweds. Will he succeed in rescuing them and clearing his name? Will Musthafa be able to avenge his wife's death? Will Raghavan be brought to justice?

Justice Devarajan (Prem Nazir) lives in a palatial house with his wife, Sharada (Srividya), and a son named Rajan (Sukumaran). Devarajan and Rajan do not get along and as a result, Rajan moves out and goes to live in a nearby slum area with two friends, Dr. Bashir (Soman) and his father, Moidu (Madhu). Bashir is in love with Rasiya (Rajyalakshmi) and hopes to marry her soon. Before that could happen, Dr. John (C.I. Paul), Bashir's senior, gets killed and the police find Bashir there with a knife in his hand. Bashir is arrested and taken to court, where Justice Devarajan finds him guilty and orders that he should be hanged. Then a man named Lazar (Janardanan) gets killed, and the evidence points to Rajan, who is also arrested and produced before Justice Devarajan, who also finds him guilty, and sentences him to death. Moidu then finds that his house had been burned down and is out on the street. Then the unexpected happens, Sharada is killed, and Moidu finds out that DSP Khader (K.P. Ummer) had been seen outside his house. Will Moidu be able to take revenge for Sharada's death?
