- Steevy is a middle aged man who works in a boring low-class rotten desk job. As his birthday approached, he starts to get depressed. He is a lonely man, nobody lives with him, he doesn't have any friends at work, and he believes that no one could ever love him because he is ugly. He leaves his job heading back home, hoping that someone - a family member or a friend- might throw him a surprise party, but no one did. No one remembered his birthday; his level of depression gets higher and higher with each disappointment. The day after, he decides not to work, and he spends the day sitting in front of his window thinking how miserable his life is and how he doesn't have a friend or a lover that cares about him. His depression leads to his death, for he takes his own life with his hands. At his grave stands a young girl, Eve, in her late twenties holding a white rose in her hand, shocked by his death. She starts remembering his birthday when she was trying to make up her mind whether to go talk to him or not, how she got hesitant because she thought it wasn't the right time, and how she watched him leave, pitying herself for not being able to tell him how she felt about him. Then she leaves the graveyard, leaving the white rose on his grave.
