Jonathan and Sandra are the parents of a fifteen year old daughter, Addison. While Jonathan and Sandra are arguing about dinner the doorbell rings. Jonathan lets Addison's friend, Ethan, inside and sends him up to her room. While they continue to argue, they hear a gunshot and rush upstairs to find her daughter has been shot.
