A haircut video with a plot but soon turns into Reality TV.

Tina enjoys coloring her hair with henna. The henna gives her hair a reddish-brunette color. But it takes her at least a half an hour to color it as her hair is quite long - to her waist. Because Tina has taken up running, she wants a shorter haircut, shorter than she's ever gone before. During the interview, before the haircut, Tina tosses her hair around one last time, excited for the upcoming haircut. In the studio, Tina's hair in sectioned into two long ponytails that are soon cut off with a scissors. As the stylist cuts the hair into wedge pixie, hair hits the floor. Interspersed in Tina's haircutting video, are scenes of other two hair models brushing or putting up their hair. A razor is used to create shorter fringe/bangs. A scissors is used for this dry cut. When the haircut is finished, Tina peeks into the mirror and she loves her new style.

Watch as Natalie in pearls, fur, and in a long flowing dress, sits herself down into the vintage barber chair at an old-fashioned barbershop, and tells the barber that she "wants it short, as short as he wants to go." Eager to please his customer, he takes her coat, and then wraps a pinstriped cape around her, before wrapping a neck strip around her neck. He pins up her long curly hair, taking stock of the best way to cut it. Using the clippers, scissor, and thinning sheers, the barber in a white barber's jacket, skillfully shears off her locks into an adorable pixie haircut. The barber uses the duster several times to brush off all the hairs that have fallen onto her face. He also brushes off her nape and shoulders. Just as Natalie is about to leave, the barber calls her back. He forgot something. As she sits there wondering what it could be, a pie tin of hot foamy lather is shoved into her face. The chair back falls backwards with her, as the barber begins working with the straight-edge razor to shave her face smooth. Hot towels are also used to make sure she gets as clean as shave as possible.

Brunette Tracy would like an inverted bob. Before we dive into the hair cutting, we hear Tracy's hairstory, as she shows off her waist-long hair one last time. During the dry cut, done by James Williams, you'll see flashes of other hair models, in this three-part "Art of" series, where only one video camera was used. Tracy wants "something different...jaw length." She bits her lip and confesses that she's "a little nervous." After a cape and neck strip, her hair is brushed out, put in three ponytails, and snipped them off with a scissors. "Oh my gosh. It's short!" Tracy takes a deep breathe as James wets her hair down before cutting it with a razor. While hair tumbles to the floor, Tracy looks like she regrets her hair cutting decision. When asked what she's thinking, her reply is, "Shit." Breathe, Tracy, breathe, it's going to look great. Soon, the neck strip is removed and the cape undone, Tracy runs her hands through her hair, realizing that all of her hair isn't gone. Her hair given a quick blow dry, and when asked what Tracy was thinking, she said, "I'm really excited to see it."
