When Jack Burns is asked to join the mob, he jumps as what he sees as the opportunity of a lifetime. However, soon Burns is caught in the middle of a web of deception where NOTHING is as it seems and NO ONE can be trusted.

When a group of local lumberjacks in Northern Michigan work for a local lumber company in 1890, an unexpected hermit tells the tall tale of an ancient legend which roams the woods. One by one, the lumberjacks must fight for survival in this campy "B" drama horror in order to stay alive to warn the next visitors of Northern Michigan.
