This film based on an ancient Mongolian folk song. A beautiful little princess lost her tribe and became a slave to another one. Years later she was assigned to be the mistress of another King for giving birth to an heir and given the name, "Dakula". Her childhood friend, Arshan, died before finding her. Wang Fujin helped Arshan as the new prince,starting more inter-tribe conflict The King's subsequent death triggered more fighting between the different tribes for the princess. Facing the fighting among the tribes and the imminent cruelty of the creatures on the grassland, Dakula made her own choice of which path to lead.
