June 1944. A group of seven Dutch resistance fighters receive an important mission to help the allied advance into occupied Europe. The mission goes wrong and they are starting to suspect that there is a traitor in their midst.

The eleven year old Alex is obsessed by the violent cartoon show Jack Thompson: Fighting Evil. In his imaginative world Alex fights side-by-side with Jack Thompson against the Blue Jumpsuit Army led by General Horrid. But the boundaries between fantasy and reality keeps getting thinner when Alex meets Jack outside of his fantasy world.
