Ji Yichuan stops the wedding in time and after having resolved their misunderstandings, he and Yu Chixue get married. Nonetheless, their trials and tribulations are far from over as they discover that the mastermind has to do with the word 'Yan'. The Ji clan is hit hard, Lan Lingyu dies tragically while the Yuchi clan is annihilated. Ji Yichuan and Yu Chixue return together to defeat Shao Yan Wang and they give birth to a child whose name is Ji Ning.
