In 1960s New York, Walter Stackhouse is a successful architect married to the beautiful Clara who leads a seemingly perfect life. But his fascination with an unsolved murder leads him into a spiral of chaos as he is forced to play cat-and-mouse with a clever killer and an overambitious detective, while at the same time lusting after another woman.

For a few months in the fall of 1993, Nickel Plate Road (NKP) 2-8-4 steam locomotive number 765 was cosmetically altered to appear as Chesapeake and Ohio (C&O) locomotive number 2765, to pull several excursion trains on former C&O track. We see 2765 on a run from Cincinnati Union Terminal to Russell Kentucky, then ride in the cab on the way back. We also see footage in the New River Gorge region in West Virginia.
