As close as the relationship between Vera and Johanna still is, it is suddenly strained when it turns out that many years ago they loved the same man at the same time. Meanwhile, in the hunt for Molesch, an unexpected opportunity arises: a young woman who corresponds to his victim type is to serve as a decoy for the police.
