Life takes a turn for the worse for two naive Brisbane guys when they rob a Sydney bookie, unaware that he is part of a network run by a dangerous underworld figure. When the gangster sends a hitman after them, they in turn hire their own hitman for protection, and a game of cat and mouse ensues.
