Confronted with their suspicions he is forced to admit a far more serious and pressing situation which is soon to make its presence felt across Eastern Europe in the last years of The Cold War and the Iron Curtain. Having given them what they asked for, Ivan then asks them to assist him to locate a survivor from Warsaw who disappeared while he was there in 1943.
