Based in the late 19th Century, we follow the story of the successful upper class politician and military officer, Ludovic Scott, as he re-lives his adventures while writing his memoirs. He realises the war is the perfect opportunity to 'dispose' of Ludovic and take Josephine for himself. However, Ludovic is conflicted by the choice to make over what he desires more.
