- Liza Goddard, Michael Rodd and member of the public Stephen Cox faced evaporation in an episode that is officially missing from the BBC archives.
- James Burke, Maggie Philbin and guest Pat Cater are the three time travellers trying to win back their crystals to return home.
- Actress Denise Coffey and Sky at Night presenter Dr. Garry Hunt are joined by Toby Freeman on their trip to Arg. But while Toby was the non-celebrity for the week, he went on to be a games consultant on the series.
- Paul Darrow and Lesley Judd's trip to Arg with guest Robert Malos was wiped from the BBC archives. However, a domestic, off-air recording was obtained in order to bring their adventure to the DVD release.
- The second series has some new elements, with creator Patrick Dowling greeting the contestants on Earth before they travel to Arg. There's also Lesley Judd, who has remained on Arg as a mole, and, most famously of all, the Vortex.
- Member of the public David Gale takes a trip to Arg, and finds himself under suspicion of being the Mole by fellow travellers David Yip and Madeline Smith. This edition was wiped by the BBC and only exists as off-air copies.
- With the Rubik's Cube craze of the time, Cube expert David Singmaster enters as a celebrity, alongside Nationwide presenter Sue Cook. Joining them on their trip to Arg is marketing executive Philip Sheppard.
- The last of four episodes that were wiped by the BBC, featuring Derek Griffiths, Nerys Hughes and guest Tessa Hamp. While not available to be included on the DVD release, a copy is known to exist in private hands.
- A dramatic finale as Captain Acteon of the Cosmic Investigation Department visits Arg to arrest Lesley Judd for being a mole. Contestants John Craven, Kirsty Miller and Bill Green must quickly exit to avoid the mayhem.
- The third series sees The Adventure Game broadcast directly from Arg as part of Arg-O-Vision. New elements include viewer phone calls, plus the first appearance of Dagnor, the backwards-talking Argond.
- Sue Nicholls, Duncan Goodhew and guest Emma Disley face stilt walking, scaling ladders, multiple evaporations and a bed of nails. But their trials don't mean that Uncle will take it easy on them in the Vortex.
- In arguably the most bizarre episode, Chris Serle attempts to please Uncle by singing him a ballad, accompanied by the Argestra. Will his song win favour, or will Sandra Dickinson and Adam Tandy have to carry on without him?
- "Stopwatch" presenter Paul McDowell joins Bonnie Langford and Mastermind finalist Christopher Hughes in a series of increasingly bizarre puzzles and outlandish situations.
- Janet Fielding, judo champion Neil Adams and antiques dealer Nigel Crockett face the challenges of Arg in a week where Uncle is in a particularly bad mood. Will Uncle's unorthodox Vortex strategy work, or cause him further anger?
- The final edition of the third series sees Noel Edmonds, Fern Britton and member of the public Ray Virr try to get through the various hazards of Arg. But more importantly than that - it's His Royal Highness The Rangdo of Arg's birthday.
- The final series of The Adventure Game sees the show still being broadcast from Arg as part of Arg-O-Vision. However, there's a new presenter in the form of Dorgan, and the increasingly bad-tempered Uncle has turned himself into a teapot.
- Johnny Ball, Barbara Lott and Liz Hobbs take on the puzzles and challenges of Arg, while there's a special appearance by Dagnor, AKA Ron Gad.
- Fiona Kennedy, weatherman Ian McCaskill and round-the-world yachtsman David Sandeman take on the challenges of Arg, including Argonds Round The Pond, and a particularly determined Uncle in The Vortex.
- Ruth Madoc, Heinz Wolff and student Deborah Leigh Hall take a trip to Arg. But can they work effectively together in order to outwit the Argonds?
- A postponed episode sees George Layton, Joanna Monro and guest Val Prince take their turn to visit Arg and get lost in a series of puzzles and challenges.
- Viewers get to visit Arg for one final time, as this last edition says goodbye to Gandor, Dorgan and the other Argonds. The final contestants hoping to avoid evaporation are Keith Chegwin, Heather Couper and guest Adam Gilbey.
