- Brian, egged on by Albert, tries to sabotage Andrew's fly-in fishing business. Gerry and Teevee apply for a bank loan, and the surly loan officer discovers Gerry's excessive telephone charges for a rather embarrassing service.
- Harper continues his investigation of Michelle's shooting, but Charlie is obsessing over it. Gerry and Rosie learn that their restaurant's water is polluted by Joe's porta-potty. The stresses of Teevee's absence have a dire effect on Lois.

- Peter brings an archaeologist to Lynx River who discovers something in town that might interest everyone. Sarah is down when she makes an incorrect diagnosis. Harris and Peter try to keep the tannery business afloat.
- Harper wants a transfer, but Michelle is hesitant and conducts an investigation into a past incident involving him; they try to blackmail each other. Harper's father, a senator, pays a visit to Lynx River. Teevee tries to close an oil deal. Lois goes into labor.

- U.S. Air Force pilots are forced to make a stop in Lynx River after a food poisoning emergency. While the captain is resting in the clinic, Eric is surprised to find Marie Tenia and Donna Kizha entertaining the others. Teevee fells guilty for the way his sister Marie was acting.
- Peter is stressed by an upcoming race. Leon receives an unexpected visitor. Sarah gets closer with a rig foreman.

- Constable James Harper and Inspector Cormier are still trying to determine who attacked Michelle and why Teevee is suddenly missing. Harris isn't happy about Jesse's upcoming christening, but Gerry is.
- Albert's old friend Ben Montour comes to Lynx River, wanting to get his life back on track, but Ben finds it difficult to cope with people in town. Ellen and Peter's relationship faces a crisis.
- Michelle leaves for Calgary to visit Hannah. She learns that Hannah is missing and decides to find her with the help of Andrew One Sky. Teevee returns to Lynx River with a new girlfriend and a lot of money.
- Michelle continues her search for Brian with help from the RCMP rescue team. Betty Moses returns to re-open the treatment center and offer Sarah a job. Lois gives Harris news that upset him.
- Teevee pushes the band council to accept a deal to put Lynx River Resources on the Alberta stock exchange. Leon tries to get back into Rosie's good graces. Nathan disappears in the middle of a big lumber job.
