- Little Richie is shocked to learn that his 9-year-old friend has a serious crush on Richie's cute 16-year-old cousin, Rita. Richie asks his cousin to gently turn his friend down with surprising hilarious results.
- After misplacing the saxophone which a friend placed in their care, Richie and Wally hope to raise money for a replacement...by faking and then selling various celebrity-autographs, a la "Can You Ever Forgive Me?".
- Little Richie is entertaining the class when the teacher is out, then when she returns, he is forced to stay after as punishment to clean up (mainly) the papers the class threw at him. His teacher also suggests he try out for the school play, Romeo and Juliet, to express his need to entertain. Richie wins the part of Romeo, but is unsure if he can perform it in front of a live audience. After imagining that he completely botches his performance in front of all and has fruit and vegetables thrown at him, he runs away. Only after a talking to by the local bum does he return and goes through with it. Turned out it was him who had to carry the whole play (flawlessly, no less) as his classmate playing Juliet was the one so overcome with severe stage fright she couldn't even give her lines.
- Richie shoplifts a basketball in order to join a local gang...which then rejects him anyway.
- Little Richie becomes so distracted by the notion of obtaining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's autograph that he loses his senile Uncle Mose.
- Little Richie and his friends who decide to skip school learn from a wise friendly Rastafarian musician, played by Pryor, why skipping school is dumb.
- Richie's feud with Wally escalates into a classroom brawl.
