As part of her plan, Anna ensures that the attackers are identified, once again framing Kyle Hobbes for the attack. The second attacker is identified as Paul Kendrick, a government scientist who mysteriously disappeared from his job several weeks before. He had been working with others on a project and may have inadvertently developed a weapon against the Vs. Kyle meanwhile seems to be playing both sides of the fence and makes an offer to the Visitors.
