After attending the college for two years and obtaining an Associates Degree in Communications, he transfered to the State University of New York at Fredonia, a 4 year institution, where he studied Digital Film and Television Productions.
After his graduation from Fredonia in 2005, hey took a major step in life by moving to Charlotte, North Carolina. It was here that he was able to start his career. He did various freelance jobs before coming across Dave Svenson. It was through Dave that Joe got his first break working on the movie _Mill, The (2006)_ where he did grip work.
