Gaffer, Best Boy, on set, off set, Rigging Gaffer, Rigging Best Boy - I decided they are all positions I should say yes to depending on the job and who's asking me to do it. I believe its important to keep learning and understanding all aspects of the lighting department, its coordination to cinematography and production requirements, whilst keeping me up to date with the latest tools, techniques and technology as the rate of development and change in set lighting continues to accelerate. Only accepting work as a gaffer would mean the end of my up-skilling, just when things are changing so rapidly. When I gaffer for you, you can be assured that my ideas / suggestions / judgement and decision making is based on exposure to a wide and up to date professional experience and best practice observations. There's many ways to do many things, some are quicker, some are safer and some are cheaper - there might even be one that is all 3. I aim to be able to give my cinematographers, producers and production managers the best options available, working as a partner to deliver our directors vision to the audience, within the time and budget constraints of every and any shoot day. Most importantly, I still get the most satisfaction from producing beautiful, memorable, emotional images that are recorded forever and will outlast me. After more than 20 years lighting sets, I still enjoy the process and appreciate the relationships forged under the pressure of a long, demanding day on set - its important to take the time to squeeze in some humour during our long days and nights together.- Producer

Dulcinea Circelli began her performance career as a tiny magician's assistant in her Magic Castle member hopeful father's magic shows. After a tragic chainsaw accident ended her father's magic career, Dulcinea spent her junior high and high school years playing piano, singing opera, training in gymnastics and Jazz dance, and performing in Southern California theatrical productions such as "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe," "Screwtape," "The Man of La Mancha," and "Faust." She was also the recipient of a summer theater intensive scholarship to the prestigious Idyllwild School for the Arts at age 15.
Although acting was her heart's calling, she followed a more practical path and went to community college at 16 years old, and graduated six years after at the University of Southern California as a premedical student with degrees in Creative Writing, Biology, and Neuroscience. She worked as a Biology, Math, and ESL teacher for community colleges and tutor companies for a few years after college, all the while still taking dance classes and sometimes moonlighting as a go-go dancer at various Hollywood clubs and speakeasies to supplement her adjunct professor income.
She became an accomplished cirque performer specializing in pole, Lyra, trapeze, and chair burlesque, eventually performing in a live music, burlesque, and cirque showcase at The Viper Room, and continues to work with LA's Mimoda Jazzo experimental dance and physical theater company. Her students (many of them much older adults) never knew.
While working as a teacher, one of Dulcinea's mentors at a school she worked for mentioned teaching is "an acting job," when she mentioned her unease in front of a large group of people. Dulcinea had a difficult time speaking and teaching in a classroom without a stage, costume, characterization or script. Dulcinea was feeling like a failure at something she actually hated: teaching science.
A few more acting classes, one dead body found in the community college gymnasium pool, and a school shooting threat later, Dulcinea was booking local commercial jobs and making a second income as an actress performing in online advertising, art films, and immersive theatrical cabaret/speakeasy events. With the addition of art modeling to her rotating roster of performances, Dulcinea was able to quit teaching to act, dance, and fly around with the circus full time. Dulcinea followed her dreams and decided to not wait around for another school shooting.- Actor

He majored in romantic languages at Princeton University but left a year later to study at the Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati after his thoughts turned to a possible operatic career. He later was accepted into Juilliard.
Instead of opera, however, Ed first became a band vocalist with Paul Whiteman and Orchestra. He then sang bass as part of the Mozart Opera Company in New York. With the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company in 1942, he appeared in the operettas "The Mikado," "The Gondoliers" and "The Pirates of Penzance".
WWII interrupted his early career. Ed served as a radio operator with the army and would find himself on radio again in the post-war years where his deep, resonant voice proved ideal. A number of musical comedy roles also came his way again. In 1947, he made it to Broadway with the musical "Allegro." Star José Ferrer took an interest in Ed while they both were appearing in "The Shrike" on Broadway in 1952.
Around 1953, Edward moved to Texas to be near his brother and began anchoring the local news and kiddie birthday party show called "Uncle Eddie's Kiddie Party." Ferrer remembered Platt and invited him to Hollywood where Ferrer was starring in the film version of The Shrike (1955). Ed recreated his stage role. He also earned fine notices as James Dean's understanding juvenile officer in the classic film Rebel Without a Cause (1955).
This led to a plethora of film and TV support offers where the balding actor made fine use of his dark, rich voice, stern intensity and pragmatic air, portraying a slew of professional and shady types in crime yarns, soap dramas and war pictures -- everything from principals and prosecutors to mobsters and murderers.
After years of playing it serious, which included stints on the daytime drama General Hospital (1963), Ed finally was able to focus on comedy as "The Chief" to Don Adams klutzy secret agent on Get Smart (1965), a show that inevitably found a cult audience. Picking up a few occasional guest spots in its aftermath, he later tried producing.
Twice married and the father of four, Platt died on March 19, 1974. Death was attributed to a massive heart attack at the time. Years later his son revealed that his father, suffering from acute depression and undergoing severe financial pressures, committed suicide at his Santa Monica, California apartment.- Ellie Darcey-Alden, born on September 4, 1999, is a young film/TV actress born in Oxford, England. - Francesco D'Onofrio is an Italian-American actor born and raised in New York City. He always had an interest in entertainment, and doing theater in high school inspired his acting ambitions. After graduating with a degree in film and television production, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
- Not your typical 3rd culture kid (his parents weren't diplomats), Gen spent his childhood growing up in cities such as London, Kobe, Seoul, Tokyo, Philadelphia, and New York, in that order. It led to a mishmash of accents growing up. which at one point was the cause of an identity crisis, but he is now able to put it to good use thanks to that acting thing he does.
Gen debuted as Angel in the official Japanese cast of RENT in 2008. Only then he realized (yikes) that if he wanted to do this as a career, he needed formal training. Hence, skipping his college graduation ceremony, he dived into the One-Year Conservatory program at the T. Schreiber Studio, NY, and completed the curriculum on a tourist visa (You're not supposed to do that? Oops). He took more classes with many teachers and casting directors, but notably he has also studied under Bob Krakower in the Advanced On-Camera class, and currently studies improv at Faceoff Unlimited.
While pursuing his dream in the US, he furthered his career by starring in lead roles in Japan's official Broadway productions of next to normal (Gabe), Dracula (Jonathan), Bare (Jason), Rocky Horror Show (Rocky), to name a few.
As you might have guessed, Gen loves musicals, and also loves Japan. So much so that he co-founded a company called Broadway in Japan, which introduces Broadway musical theatre faculty to Japanese aspiring musical theatre performers, offering invaluable education opportunities in Japan. Ever expanding, Gen was able to produce 4 shows via BIJ, including Broadway actor Telly Leung's first solo show in Japan, as well as the first concert version of The Last Five Years which Gen also performed in.
Gen is represented by agents The Mine (legit) and Innovative Artists (commercial), as well as manager Josselyne Herman-Saccio.
Gen also hosts a weekly American cable TV show called TV JAPAN CLUB, as well as the sold-out improv comedy show BATSU!, performing weekly in the heart of Astor Place, NYC. - Actress
