- Stubby (1916 - 1926) was a Boston Terrier mix who was adopted by Corporal James Robert Conroy of the 26th Infantry Division (Yankee). He reputedly is the most decorated war dog from the first World War. He served 18 months and participated in 17 battles on the Western Front, as the unofficial mascot of the U.S. 102nd Infantry Regiment in World War I. During his tour of duty, he repeatedly distinguished himself on the front and saved lives. He alerted his regiment impending surprise mustard gas attacks. He alerted his unit to duck for cover, since he could hear the whine of incoming artillery shells before humans. He located wounded soldiers in no man's land. He captured a German spy in the Argonne. He comforted wounded soldiers and improved morale when was sent to the rear for convalescence, after twice being injured himself by hand grenades and mustard gas. Stubby was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and earned three Service Stripes, a French Battle of Verdun Medal, Republic of France Grande War Medal, a St Mihiel Campaign Medal, a Chateau Thierry Campaign Medal, a Purple Heart and two wound chevrons, a 1st Annual American Legion Convention Medal, a New Haven WW1 Veterans Medal among other military decorations.

- Tim began a college career in computer science, however he took a speech class which offered extra credit to help out the College's production of The Persecution & Assasination of Jean Paul Marat as Performed By The Inmates of Charenton Assylum Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade (apparently some of the original cast members had some emotional and/or psychological issues with the content of the play). Tim played the "Mad Animal" inmate and managed to literally attack the audience. He was hooked & changed to a theatrical degree, he went on to both stage and film roles. Tim left SC in 1981 and lived for three years on the Italian island of Sardinia in the Mediteranean. There he perfected his high school French and learned to speak Italian as well. After Italy Tim lived in San Diego, CA for 5 years where he worked at Scripp's Clinic & Research Foundation where he started out as a janitor and left with the position of Lead Medical Secretary and Clerical Trainer. San Diego introduced him to the world of film when he got a part as a papparazi in that great film classic, Killer Tomatoes Eat France. Ever restless he was offered a position at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and Tim became the administrative assistant to the director of the Department of Technology Development and Clinical Trials. Los Angeles offered Tim the role of a Zombie on the Universal Studios Backlot where he again had the pleasure of attacking in audience on their Halloween Haunted Tram. Tim later moved to Dallas where he had starring roles as Orville Turnover in Daddy's Dying Who's Got the Will, Madame de Grappeline in Rene de O'Baldia's play The Late, Mr. Keller in a Young Actor's Television Workshop Production of A Trip to Twisted Oak Street and Ludy in a PBS televised 30 minute film, Baby Makes Three. He also appeared in many episodes of Walk er, Texas Ranger & numerous other films and movies of the week that shot in Texas.
- Born in Georgetown, British Guiana (now Guyana), Adams was educated at the Moco Teachers' Training College in Jamaica where he graduated with honors. He began his career in teaching being a headmaster in British Guaiana, a master on staff at Trinidad College. He was also a qualified Engineering Draughtsman. He gave up teaching to move to Britain intending to become a barrister. Penniless, he took any job he could whilst studying law, resulting in paid jobs as wrester, professional boxer, artist model, journalist and singer. He contemplated becoming a opera singer but became involved in the acting scene in London. After voice training he made his first stage appearance in "Stevedore" with Paul Robeson at the Embassy Theatre, London. Shortly after he was given lead roles in "All God's Chillun" and "Emperor Jones" and became a recognised name on stage, radio and television. Simultaneously he began his film career, initially for Ealing in "Midshipman Easy". During the war he served as an A.R.P. (Air Raid Patrol) warden and also worked in a factory to assist in the war effort.
