An award winning artist, writer, actor, director and music producer, Seda (as he is known by most) completed his BFA in illustration at the prestigious Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, before moving to LA continuing his studies at Art Center College of Design and UCLA for film writing and directing. He has since worked as a storyboard artist and lead character designer for film, TV and video games.- Valeri Zalotukha was born on 3 July 1954 in village Shakhty 5/15, Uzlovaya raion, Tula Oblast, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia]. - Bob found his talent during World War II in the Navy when he was asked to MC a USO show. He began writing when he came out of the service and became a gag writer for Milton Berle, Jack Benny and Red Skelton. He was signed by the William Morris office and teamed with Sammy Davis Jr who he worked with for many years. He did extensive work in New York's Borscht Belt and Las Vegas. Among others he performed with are Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin,Robert Goulet, Judy Garland,and Connie Stevens. In 1961 Capital Records produced an album entitled "CLoser Baby, Don't Fight It" Mr Melvin also did extensive television variety show appearances such as Gary Moore, Jackie Gleason, Hollywood Palace, and Dean Martin. He toured for over 35 years from 1960 until late in the 1990s when he retired. His catch phrase was "Got A Minute?" He was also known for rating his audience at the end of each performance (65 was a passing grade).
- Roller derby champion Charlie O'Connell was born on May 7, 1935 in New York City. Charlie discovered skating because his grandmother was a fan. O'Connell initially skated for the New York Chiefs and the Chicago Westerners before signing on with the San Francisco Bay Bombers in 1957. One of the most beloved and popular roller derby stars of the 1960's and 1970's, Charlie was named most valuable player in the league eight times and played on five world championship teams in the 1960's. Moreover, O'Connell was inducted into the Roller Derby Hall of Fame in 1967 after his first retirement from the sport. However, Charlie eventually came out of retirement and continued to skate up until 1978. In the wake of his second and final retirement O'Connell settled down in Oakdale, California and went on to manage apartment buildings as well as was a member of the Oakdale Golf & Country Club. O'Connell died of a heart attack at age 79 on February 9, 2015.
