Leander Lee Marty was born in a small middle class family in Trichy. His father Mr 'MPN William Paul' is a Rtd Indian Navy Chief Petty Officer (Naval Aviation), who served the nation for 18 long years. His mother, 'Mrs Jaicy William' is a house wife who ran a small tailoring business. Lee learned music through his elder brother 'Roger Rex', who is a Physiotherapist currently. He was the one who mentored Lee the knowledge that he has now.

Later in 2008 at the age of 18, after his 12th grade, Lee moved to Pondicherry to persuade his passion. He worked as a sound boy in an audio company 'Sound Garden' where he used to assist Mr Joe in setting up PA Systems for the French and International bands live concerts and gigs. He also took up a part time job as a music teacher in 'Stansford International School ' which helped him survive.

In 2016 he contested in Nalaya Iyakkunar season 5, where director 'Sundar C' and 'Vasanth' were the judges. He reached till the finals and got the best music director award in the semi finals.

By the end of 2017 Lee signed his debut movie in Tamil Dha Dha 87 starring National Award Winning Veteran Actor Mr Charuhassan the elder brother of Padma Shri 'Kamal Haasan'. The teaser of Dha Dha 87 reached 1 million organic views in 10 hrs and went viral with trending No 2 in Twitter which was a real deal those days. The Background Music of Dha Dha 87 teaser was such a hit that it was even used in various news and media channels.

In 2019 Lee scored music for Kannada movie 'Bhakshi Garden' with director Yadav Raj.

In 2021 Lee scored music for Telugu movie 'Chakori' with director 'Satya Dhanekula'

In 2022 Lee scored music for Pro Nikkil Murugan's 'Powder' which has IMDB rating 9.0/10. He was widely appreciated for his intruding background score by critics and reviewers and was invited by the legendary director 'Iyakkunar Imayam Bharadhiraja' at his residence, who personally wished him for his astounding work.

In 2023 Lee scored music for 'Haraa' with 80's legendary actor 'Mohan' with Sony Music as label. His single 'Kaya Muya' was the first ever 'Kutthu' genre song for Mohan which went viral across the globe reaching Million views.

In 2024 Lee scored music for Choreographer, Actor, Director Mr Prabhudeva, who is also called as The Indian Michael Jackson for his upcoming action thriller 'Musasi'.

In 2024 Lee signed his next in Telugu with Choreographer turned Director'Subhash Sarikonda' with a star studded cast.
