Andrzej Zielinski (born Oct. 14th 1962 in Tarnow) - Polish film, theatre and television actor. Apart from acting in his native Polish he is also experienced in acting in English. He is known for "The Pianist" by Romana Polanski, "Vent d'est" (Wind From East) by Robert Enrico, "Egregor" by Stanislav Kapralov.

He specializes in creating psychologically nuanced characters: villain in "Extradition 2", intelligent in "A Grain of Truth" or psychopathic gangster in "Inverted". He perfectly plays roles of policemen in "Manhunt", "Black Mercedes", commander Konrad Markowski in the series "WPack", CIA agent in "Operation Samum". He is considered one of the most talented Polish actors. He has appeared in films by world-renowned directors, such as the awarded with the Palme d'Or at Cannes IFF "The Pianist", "Chopin. Desire for Love" and "Wind from East". In the above listed movies he appeared on screen next to such masters as Adrien Brody, Malcolm McDowell, Rutger Hauer, Ron Silver, Roy Scheider or the Polish stars such as Krystyna Janda or Agata Kulesza. Personal charm, unconventional male beauty, sense of humor and sarcasm are the features that attract the attention of not only his loyal audience, but also of directors and producers.

In 1986, Andrzej graduated from the Acting Department of the State School of Theater in Cracow. He has been living in Warsaw for many years. He played on the stages of J. Slowacki Theater in Cracow and the Ateneum Theater in Warsaw. Since 2001, he has been an actor of the Wspólczesny Theater in Warsaw. His most important theatrical roles include Wiktor in "Bambini di Praga" directed by Agnieszka Glinska, Osip in "Untitled Art" directed by Agnieszka Glinska, Claudius in "Hamlet" directed by Maciej Englert. Winner of many acting awards, including three-times Feliks Warszawski for the best leading male roles - Lilek Czech in Tadeusz Konwicki's "Ascension", adapted and directed by Maciej Englert, Captain in "Pretending A Victim" directed by Maciej Englert and for the role of A Stroncylow in "People and Angels" directed by Wojciech Adamczyk; He was awarded with Aleksander Zelwerowicz award for the role of Fomicz Opiskin in Fyodor Dostoyevsky's play "Your Excellency" directed by Izabella Cywinska, in 2006 awarded by the monthly "Teatr". He is a three-time winner of the Sopot Festival of the Polish Radio Theater and the Polish Television Theater "Two Theaters".

In cinematography, Zielinski made his debut in "Holidays with Madonna". Two years later, he appeared in "Yesterday" which was recognized with the FIPRESCI award at the Venice IFF and the Golden Shell award of the San Sebastian IFF. He later played several important roles in films, including "Havet Stiger", "Gold Of Deserters", "Quo Vadis", "We Are All Christs", "Crown Witness", "Volta", "Mr. T.". In 2021, he once again appeared in the English-speaking role in the American-Ukrainian production "Egregor".

The actor is also active in dubbing. He was a voice in movies and computer games, including "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" - Febus, "Quantum of Solace" - James Bond, "Crew G" - Darwin.

Zielinski has been living in Warsaw for many years. He focuses on his work, he avoids publicity. He values a quiet life on the outskirts of the city, loves to cook, loves animals, enjoys skiing in the mountains and spending time in his favorite European city - Rome.

Mr. Denner began studying in Paris with Charles Dullin in 1945. Four years later, he joined the National Popular Theater. In 1962, he was offered his first big film role, in Bluebeard (1963). He made thirty films after that, notably with Claude Lelouch and François Truffaut. Over the years, he worked under some of France's best-known directors, including Louis Malle. During the 70's and 80's, he notoriously personified police detectives in famous French "Films Noirs" such as Mille milliards de dollars (1982) or The Night Caller (1975).

Anny Ondra was a Polish-Czech-Austrian-German-French singer and a film and stage actress. As a child she lived in Prague, where her father was a colonel in the Austro-Hungarian army. After graduating from convent school in Prague, she studied to be an actress with Professor Bor. She was already a star in the Czech theater when, at age 16, the teenage beauty was discovered by the film industry.

From 1920--mostly under the direction of Karel Lamac--she became a major comedic star in Czech cinema, and in 1928 she conquered German cinema. Historically, she was Alfred Hitchcock's first blonde, appearing in his film Blackmail (1929), which was England's--and Hitchcock's--first talking film (Hitchcock, knowing that not all theaters supported talkies, also shot a silent version of the film). In 1930 in Germany she created, with the help of Karel Lamac, the Ondra-Lamac Film Society, which lasted till 1936. She was in Die vom Rummelplatz (1930) ("Those of the Sideshow") but the film was lost and remains so to this day.

She played in German, Czech and French-language versions of all her movies, always as the leading lady. She became an international cinema superstar and one of the most beloved of German film stars. She appeared in more than 88 films. She retired from the industry in 1957 and lived in Hollenstedt in der Lüneburger Heide, Germany (near Hamburg), with her husband, boxing champion Max Schmeling, whom she married in 1933.

She died in Hollenstedt and will never be forgotten by her fans.

Marcin's first feature "My Flesh My Blood" (2009) had its premiere at the Rome FF 2009. The picture received: the Jounalist's Award and The Best Script Award at the Polish Debuts Film Festival 2009 also the Grand Prix of the Polish Edition Hartley-Merrill Award in 2007 and the Third Prize of Hartley-Merrill International Screenwriting Award in Cannes 2007 (working title: "Tamagotchi"), also many other awards at film festivals, including Avanca IFF, Nikosis IFF.

"The Christening" (2010), second feature directed and co-produced by Marcin Wrona, premiered in 2010 at the San Sebastian IFF (Europe), Toronto FF (North America), Warsaw FF (Poland). The film received The Silver Lion Award for the best film, the Best Actor Award and award for the Best Editing at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 2010. "The Christening" also won awards in: Rejkyavik IFF (Special Mention), Mons - Love IFF (Grand Prix & Best Scenario), Prague - Febio FF (Grand Prix), Cracow - Off Plus Camera (Grand Prix in Polish films competition), Ploiesti, Romania - Golden Carpathian FF (Best Director), Tarnow FF, Poland - Youth Jury Award The film has been showing at many international festivals, and received distribution in USA, UK, Romania, Hungary and Spain.

His third film "Demon" is in post-production. It is a Polish-Israeli co-production with Itay Tiran in the lead role.

Marcin Wrona directed also several well-received and awarded TV dramas (inc: Harold Pinter's "Collection" and recently "The Morality of Mrs. Dulska") and some popular TV series. During the European Film Awards ceremony in Barcelona 2004, he presented his short film "Telefono" which was later included in Pedro Almodovar's DVD collection. In the 2013 he made musical "Chopin must die" premiered simultaneously in Warsaw and London.
