Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Dan Peek was born on November 1, 1950 in Panama City, Florida. Dan attended London Central High School in London, England, where he met fellow musicians Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell. The trio formed the folk-rock group America in the late 60s. Peek was a member of the band from 1970 to 1977. Peek renewed his faith in Christianity after years of recreational drug use and too much unhappy living in the fast lane. After leaving America in Februrary, 1977, Dan signed with Pat Boone's "Lions & Lambs Records" and established himself as an artist in the then-burgeoning Christian pop music genre. He released his debut album, "All Things Are Possible", in 1979. The same-titled single was not only a #1 hit on the contemporary Christian music radio stations, but also was a crossover success on both the Billboard and adult contemporary radio charts. Peek wrote an autobiography called "An American Band: The America Story", which specifically focused on his years as a member of America and his personal spiritual journey. Dan released his second album, "Doer of the Word", in 1984 and had a few additional hit songs on the contemporary Christian music charts. He spent much of the 90s in semi-retirement occasionally recording music at his home in the Cayman Islands. Moreover, Peek not only collaborated with musicians Ken Marvin and Brian Gentry as the group "Peace" on a handful of albums, but also recorded several albums that he sold on his official website. Dan died at age 60 on July 24, 2011 in Farmington, St. Louis, Missouri.- Actor

If there's one thing Matthew Farrar is, it's predictably unpredictable. A man who turns the wild call of nature into stories worth telling and a dedicated innovator who constantly finds himself at the edge of fresh ideas. Matthew is a man of many parts - part outdoorsman, part tour guide, part tech geek, and full-time passion-driven storyteller.
As the founder and CEO of Ekdromi Productions, Farrar turned his passion into his profession. His ventures develop original content for television, streaming, and digital, while blazing trails in the content production and management world. Matthew isn't just the captain steering the ship at Ekdromi, but he's also the charismatic host and executive producer of the nonfiction outdoor & travel series, Wild Escape (2023-).
Wild Escape is the compelling child of conservation documentary and travelogue. Guided by Matthew, who seamlessly blends his role as a passionate outdoorsman, tour guide, naturalist, and captivating storyteller, the show embarks on a journey with guests who are as intriguing as the landscapes they traverse. Matthew's unique approach uncovers compelling stories that propel our world's influential figures while simultaneously peeling back the layers of our complex relationship with the environment. Each episode of Wild Escape is an immersive experience that echoes deep within the viewers, achieving a harmony of authentic storytelling and brand engagement.
Matthew, a Floridian through and through, found his love for nature amidst the Gulf of Mexico's clear waters and the rich diversity of Florida's state and national parks. His travels - from the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland and sunny shores of Greece, to some of America's most majestic outdoor locations, not only add stamps to his passport but provide him with the inspiration to translate the world's natural beauty into compelling narratives.
Previously, Mr. Farrar co-founded SDS, a successful advertising agency that was ranked No. 638 in the 2019 Inc. 5000 - Inc. Magazine's annual ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in America.
Matthew's base camp? Tallahassee, Florida, where he tackles the adventures of life with his talented wife, Anna - a successful corporate executive - and their exuberant three-year-old son, who is quickly learning to share his father's love for the wild.
So, whether Matthew is knee-deep in Florida swamp capturing the perfect shot, or in his post-production studio fine-tuning content for release, one thing remains constant: his drive for authenticity and passionate storytelling. This, combined with his creative innovation, technical expertise, and affable personality, makes Matthew not just the man behind the camera, but a visionary transforming the landscape of content production.- The following bio was written by an intrepid reporter and not me.
David Michael Harvey was born in Panama City, FL, and grew up in Atlanta, GA. He enjoyed working on college and community theater plays so much that in 2016, he decided to pursue acting professionally. He is blessed to have landed a role on the 20th Century Fox production of a pilot for the new TV series "The Passage" (2018), so early in his professional career. He is also thankful for his role on Investigation Discovery Channel's: "Dead Silent" (2017).
The rest of this bio is none of your business. His parents are Robert Harvey, a retired Telecom. Tech. and Penelope Harvey, a retired biochemist. He has a sister and brother-in-law, a niece, and 3 nephews, and all of his family members are awesome. David has Scottish and Irish ancestry. For as long as he remembers, he has been entertaining peers and family members as often as possible with humor of the highest quality, the likes of which the world has never seen, or wanted to see.
David holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Master's degree in Instructional Technology that would allow him to be a School Librarian. Being illiterate was problematic, so he had to seek other employment.
(David told me to write that joke right there about being illiterate, I told him I would, BUT, then I said, "Look David, I'll put that joke in this bio, but don't come crying to me when people don't get the joke and really think you're illiterate and somehow acquired a Master's degree, because that happens all the time." Guess who ignored me.)
So anyways, while David has so much respect for educators and for people who are working toward not being illiterate, performance is his passion. David drove a semi for 5 years, some long haul and some local. He has driven through all 48 contiguous states, still doesn't ever want to talk to certain truckers again, and he thinks all these things make him handsome.
