Sandra Andreis is a Swedish-Italian actress and singer who has lived and worked in various countries such as Sweden, The Dominican Republic, Denmark, France, Austria and the US. She has been a long time resident of both New York and Los Angeles for over thirteen years and divides her time between the US, UK and Sweden.

Before turning to acting and performing full time, Sandra Andreis started her career as a journalist in Sweden. She has studied at the European Film College in Denmark and is a graduate of The Neighbourhood Playhouse - School of the Theatre in New York. After her graduation, Sandra Andreis appeared in several plays and musicals in New York, such as A Midsummer Night's Dream and Rent.

Between 2012-2018, Sandra starred as Detective Mia Holmgren in The Sandhamn Murders ; a Swedish TV-series based on the crime writer Viveca Sten's bestselling novels. The Sandhamn Murders has become loved by millions of viewers in Europe and the last episode in 2018 was watched by no less than five million people in Germany alone. Sandra has also appeared in the award winning film Reunion, which won the Fipresci Prize at The Venice Film Festival and several Guldbagge Awards in Sweden.

In 2018, Sandra joined the international ensemble cast of the limited thriller series The Head, which was directed by Jorge Dorado and aired globally in 2020 on HBO Max in the US, Starz UK, HBO Asia, Hulu Japan, Canal+ in France, Viaplay in Scandinavia, as well as several other countries.

During 2020, Andreis was also part of the main cast of the award winning comedy TV-series We Got This, created by Schiaffino Musarra and directed by Oscar-winner Patrik Eklund. We Got This made Variety Magazine's list as one of the Best International TV-series of 2020 and aired on Sundance Now in the UK, US and Canada.

Besides acting, Sandra Andreis has a background as a jazz singer and performer and in 2018, she released her debut EP "Raising my Standards". The album consisted of groundbreaking interpretations of Andreis' favourite jazz standards. Not only did Sandra give the classics a new and modern soundscape, but she acquired the rare permission to rewrite and update the lyrics to make them reflect the gender norms of our time. Sandra herself has said that her biggest feat this far, is making music history with the classic hit song "The Lady is a Tramp". Sandra Andreis' recorded her version with the title , "The Lady is a Champ", and it was approved as the first official alternative title of the song. Since 2018, and for the first time in history, anyone may record the classic song with the alternative title.
