Karthik Subbaraj is an Indian film director. He started his career working as a software engineer in Bangalore working for Infosys. During this period he got interested in film making. He learnt the basics of film making, during a one-day workshop run by Sanjay Nambiar. He made a short film "Kaatchipizhai" in Madurai, which was selected for "Naalaya Iyakunar"

He made his debut portraying the lead role in a short film such as Neighbour, February 29, Soulmate, Oru Cup Coffee, String Theory, Ingredients - where the list goes on. He then bagged the lead role in "Nalla Naal", a Tamil short film a Direction Masterclass by Rajiv Menon. Adding on to that, he has also acted in We are vegans, directed by Rajiv Menon as well.

Highlighting to his career in theatre plays, Krish Haran has appeared in a number of plays, viz. Prince of Persia, Thamizhukku 'tha, The Door and Waiting for Him. He has also briefly worked for commercials like Renault Nissan for a corporate video and modeled for a clothing lines Fabri5.

Krish started his acting journey in silver screen in 2017 by doing a supporting comedy role in the movie Peechaankai (2017). The following year he had was cast for doing an associate role in the movie Sarvam Thaala Mayam directed by Rajiv Menon whereas few of his scenes were removed in the release due to change of plot.
