Born March 15th, 1950, in Greenport, Long Island, New York, the youngest of four children attended the "little red school house" school in New Suffolk, Long Island until his parents moved to Oyster Bay, Long Island. This was the start of many "moves" ending up in Gas City, Indiana where he graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1968. Always wanting to be a movie star - he and a friend hitchhiked to California after graduation and sought out that dream - but the draft at that time called to him and he decided to join the Navy and entered the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Illinois. He stayed in the Navy on board the USS Lafayette - SSBN 616 until his honorable discharge in 1973. He started his martial arts training at an early age of 10 and up to his discharge from the Navy - he met and studied under many masters of different forms. In 1973 - he opened his first martial arts school in Norwich Conn - where he trained and put together a championship demo and tournament team - and through this - he still sought out his acting career and landed his first role in a major film

Halloween (1978) in which he played a "Jason" like character and also choreographed the fight scenes and some stunts. After that film, he moved to the Chicago area (Rockford, Illinois) and opened up his second school where he taught from 1984 until 2001. He put together another demo team who also did several stints as a "stunt/fight team" for several Chicago based Indie films. In 2001 - he was invited to Boulder, Colorado - to live and work at the well known film studio "Three Rivers Film Works" where he had the opportunity to become involved in several films and Animal Planet's Wildlife Wars (2004) where he starred as "Man Mountain Dean". This was where he met his life's partner, co-creator and co-star Chelsea Bond and now is involved in the writing- production - and acting in the Sci-Fi pilot Omega 1: The Praetorian Issue. Tim is also an ex-bodyguard and has a degree in Herpetology and Paleontology.

Winnie Lightner was known as Broadway's "Song a Minute Girl" because she could belt out a song in less than 60 seconds. Her brassy, outgoing style lent itself to Warner's Vitaphone shorts when sound came in, and soon Winnie Lightner was a top Warner star. The missing "Gold Diggers of Broadway" was a triumph for Lightner in 1929, and the all-technicolor "The Life of the Party" was an even bigger hit. Despite the huge success of her first few films, Warner Brothers began to assign maudlin roles to Winnie, and by 1933 she was at MGM playing second fiddle to stars like Joan Crawford. Lightner had met Director Roy Del Ruth when he directed "Gold Diggers", and they eventually married. Winnie had a son from a previous marriage named Richard Lightner (he legally changed his name to Lightner) when she married Del Ruth. They had a son named Thomas who is a cinematographer in Hollywood. After she quit pictures she never looked back. Friends and family never heard her speaking of her days of fame, and the Del Ruths rarely entertained the movie crowd in their home. Winnie died in 1971 and is buried next to Roy at the Mission San Fernando in southern California.
