Elizabeth Stamatina Fey was born in 1970 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia, to Xenobia "Jeanne" (Xenakes), a brokerage employee, and Donald Henry Fey, who wrote grant proposals for universities. Her mother is Greek, born in Piraeus, while her father had German, Northern Irish, and English ancestry. Going by the name of Tina, Fey considered herself a "supernerd" during her high school and college years. She studied drama at the University of Virginia, and after graduating in 1992, she headed to Chicago, the ancestral home of American comedy. While working at a YMCA to support herself, she started Second City's first set of courses. After about nine months, a teacher told her to just skip ahead and audition for the more selective Second City Training Center. She failed but about eight weeks later, she re-auditioned and got into the year-long program. She ended up spending many years at The Second City in Chicago where many SNL cast members first started out. Then in 1995, Saturday Night Live (1975) came to The Second City's cast, including Fey's friend, Adam McKay, as a writer, searching for new talent. What they found was Tina Fey. When Adam was made Head writer, he suggested Fey should send a submission packet over the summer with six sketches, 10 pages each. Tina took the advice and sent them. After Lorne Michaels met her and saw her work she was offered a job a week later. She admitted that she was extremely nervous working in the legendary Studio 8H; being a foot shorter than everyone else, younger, and being one of the only female writers at the time. After a few years, Tina made history by becoming the first female head writer in the show's history. Tina also made her screen debut as a featured player during the 25th season by co-anchoring Weekend Update with Jimmy Fallon. Since Tina and Jimmy have taken over Weekend Update it has been considered the best ever. This year she made it to full fledged star by becoming a regular cast member, though she is hardly on the show, besides Update. And during the past two summers, Tina and Rachel Dratch performed their two-woman show to critical acclaim in both Chicago (1999) and New York (2000) and made their Aspen Comedy Festival Debut. Tina is married to Jeff Richmond, a Second City director and lives in New York City.- Actor

William Claude Dukenfield was the eldest of five children born to Cockney immigrant James Dukenfield and Philadelphia native Kate Felton. He went to school for four years, then quit to work with his father selling vegetables from a horse cart. At eleven, after many fights with his alcoholic father (who hit him on the head with a shovel), he ran away from home. For a while he lived in a hole in the ground, depending on stolen food and clothing. He was often beaten and spent nights in jail. His first regular job was delivering ice. By age thirteen he was a skilled pool player and juggler. It was then, at an amusement park in Norristown PA, that he was first hired as an entertainer. There he developed the technique of pretending to lose the things he was juggling. In 1893 he was employed as a juggler at Fortescue's Pier, Atlantic City. When business was slow he pretended to drown in the ocean (management thought his fake rescue would draw customers). By nineteen he was billed as "The Distinguished Comedian" and began opening bank accounts in every city he played. At age twenty-three he opened at the Palace in London and played with Sarah Bernhardt at Buckingham Palace. He starred at the Folies-Bergere (young Charles Chaplin and Maurice Chevalier were on the program).
He was in each of the Ziegfeld Follies from 1915 through 1921. He played for a year in the highly praised musical "Poppy" which opened in New York in 1923. In 1925 D.W. Griffith made a movie of the play, renamed Sally of the Sawdust (1925), starring Fields. Pool Sharks (1915), Fields' first movie, was made when he was thirty-five. He settled into a mansion near Burbank, California and made most of his thirty-seven movies for Paramount. He appeared in mostly spontaneous dialogs on Charlie McCarthy's radio shows. In 1939 he switched to Universal where he made films written mainly by and for himself. He died after several serious illnesses, including bouts of pneumonia.- Frank Parker was born on 1 July 1939 in Darby, Pennsylvania, USA. Born in the suburbs of Philadelphia for the first ten years on this planet and in West Chester, PA for 8 more until college, Dave has had an interesting journey. Struck by a tragic family even early on and seeing how secretive adults can be when children aren't around, Dave found solace in books, movies and television before he was able to tie his shoes. Using his Muppets as the cast and a janky video camera, he made his first short film at age 8 and things were never the same after that. In 1996, he was given his first 35mm camera and the two have been inseparable. During high school, he was very quiet and couldn't connect with many people. He spent his weekends watching old movies and found comfort in books when everyone else was drag racing in front of Wendy's. After high school ended, he attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a focus on writing .After 2 years there and gaining personal experiences though the people he met and the places her worked (ever been to the deli counter in a south philly supermarket? I got stories for days.) Dave grew weary of the city and wanted to see the college life he saw in the movies, so he went to Hofstra University in Long Island. After a year of that, he had some more characters to write about and he returned to Philadelphia to Temple University. Completing his education there with a senior thesis film under his belt he wanted to stick around Philly for a bit and see what other projects he could work on. Bouncing back and forth between Philly and Brooklyn for a few years working on indie films and small theatre shows while working day jobs at café's and restaurants, he made his way to Los Angeles. Working at film festivals, cafes and talking shop with anyone he could, he was ready to start working. After some deep soul searching and the Covid virus shutting down the city, he returned to Brooklyn with dozens of scripts ready to be read. Dave is an ambitious little thing who wants to work with creative people to make something that will out live them.- Director
