Sarunyu Wongkrachang was born on 17 October 1961 in Kradangnga, Bang Khonthi District, Samut Songkhram, Thailand. He was an actor and director, known for Ong Bak 2 (2008), Ammahit phitsawat (2006) and Roy Ruk Raeng Kaen (2015). He was married to Hattaya Wongkrachang. He died on 10 June 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand.- During the Vietnam war, on June 8th 1972, a little girl made world news while escaping her Vietnamese village which has been bombed with napalm. Nine-year old Kim was so badly burned by napalm that she was not expected to survive, but after 14 months in a Saigon hospital, she returned to her village to begin rebuilding her life. After numeral operations, she move to Cuba to pursue her education. There, she met a young Vietnamese student who later became her husband. After the traumatic event of June 1972, she publicly pardoned the person who had launched the napalm bombing in her village in Vietman. Ever since, she has dedicated her life to promoting peace. She founded the Kim Phuc Phan Thi Foundation in Chicago, Illinois, USA in 1977. She demanded political asylum for herself and her Vietnamese husband in Canada, where they got married in 1992. Mr and Mrs. Thi still live there, alongside their 2 children; Thomas and Stephen.
