Review of Abdelinho

Abdelinho (2021)
1/10
Worst movie ever
6 November 2023
"Abdelinho" is undeniably one of the worst Moroccan movies I have ever come across. With a running time that feels like an eternity, this film is a prime example of a cinematic disaster. From the convoluted plot to the lackluster performances, it fails to deliver on multiple fronts.

The storyline is an incoherent mess, filled with clichés and predictable twists that do nothing to engage or captivate the audience. The narrative lacks depth and originality, relying heavily on tired tropes and worn-out stereotypes. It feels like a patchwork of poorly executed ideas, leaving viewers confused and uninvested.

The performances in "Abdelinho" are equally disappointing. The cast members deliver wooden and unconvincing portrayals, lacking the necessary charisma and talent to bring their characters to life. It's evident that the actors are struggling with poorly written dialogue, which further exacerbates the film's already glaring issues.

Furthermore, the technical aspects of the movie are subpar. The cinematography is lackluster, with uninspired camera work and unimpressive visual aesthetics. The editing is choppy and inconsistent, failing to create a cohesive flow. Even the soundtrack falls flat, failing to enhance the viewing experience or evoke any emotional response.

In summary, "Abdelinho" is a regrettable cinematic endeavor. It suffers from a weak and confusing plot, unconvincing performances, and overall poor execution. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this film at all costs. There are far better Moroccan movies out there that deserve your time and attention.
