Sarah Lancashire has never been someone that I have enjoyed watching in anything she has done. This has changed my mind she is absolutely brilliant and is worthy of high accolade snd awards. The program is sprinkled with humour and sadness and it has captured the time brilliantly. Well worth a watch so don't be put off by other peoples reviews.
