Star-Lord movie spin-off teased by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn
Now that James Gunn is busy with the DC Universe, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will likely serve as his final Marvel movie. However, that doesn’t mean that we won’t see these beloved characters again; In fact, the last thing we saw in the movie’s post-credit scene was a tag reading “The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return.”
During the director’s commentary for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (via The Direct), James Gunn teased a Star-Lord movie that would deal with the hero adapting to his new life back on Earth. “We always want to give somebody a little something special,” Gunn said. “And Chris and I, forever, have talked about how great it would be to be able to do a ‘Legendary Star-Lord’ movie, a story with Star-Lord on Earth trying to adapt to the environment of Earth in the same way that somebody else...
