Hari Nef, Odessa Young, Suki Waterhouse and Abra are interviewed for their movie Assassination Nation which is both written and directed by Sam Levinson. The film also stars Bella Thorne and It’s Bill Skarsgård.
The Interview is conducted by James Kleinmann who talks to the cast about the role of social media in the real lives of teenage girls and the rage and survival they have to face. They also talk about the director and how the male gaze seemed to subverted in the film.
They also talk about the double standard of religion, righteousness, and the strange puritanical barriers of how teenage girls are meant to be in modern life, as well as being pressurised into being #feminist.
