Dynasty returned to the air Friday night with a glitzy premiere that confirmed the fate of multiple characters.
Dynasty Season 2 Episode 1 scored a 0.2 rating (0.7 million total viewers). These figures are right on par with Dynasty Season 1's average.
Better yet, the 0.2 rating is up a tenth from May's season finale. This series, in particular, has a lucrative deal with Netflix that means The CW pays little to nothing for the show's production because it is being recouped by the deal.
After Dynasty, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's final season got underway with a mere 0.1 rating (0.4 million) in the demo.
This marks a series low for the critically acclaimed comedy series. It's probably a wise decision for the producers to have this season already crafted as the last.
Over on NBC, Blindspot Season 4 kicked off with a 0.5 rating (3 million). As has been the case for most series, the drama dipped from both last season's premiere and average.
