Netflix’s upcoming fantasy series “The Witcher” has cast two key roles.
Freya Allen will play Ciri, Princess of Cintra, and Anya Chalotra will play the sorceress Yennefer respectively, it was announced Wednesday.
“The Witcher,” based on the best-selling fantasy series of the same name, follows the story of solitary monster hunter Geralt of Rivia, who struggles to find his place in a world where people are often more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
