Film fans have officially entered an era that we haven’t experienced in decades, and you might not even be aware of it. But, as of this writing, Woody Allen is not working on a new film project. That’s right, the director, who has released a new film each year, like clockwork, is without a film on the horizon. Yes, there’s the still-unreleased “A Rainy Day in New York,” but as doubt surrounds that film’s release, Allen is apparently taking a break from filmmaking.
