Universal Pictures debuted the first trailer for David Gordon Green’s upcoming “Halloween” sequel at CinemaCon, and the debut footage did not disappoint when it comes to bloody horror. Jamie Lee Curtis returns to the franchise as Laurie Strode, the scream queen role that made her famous, and she was on hand at CinemaCon to debut the footage and tease the project.
“I heard what they were thinking and I immediately said yes,” Curtis said. “First of all, except for ‘Star Wars,’ I can’t think of another movie that the same actor playing the same character 40 years.”
Curtin went on to promise fans the sequel is “going to scare the living shit out of you.”
“This isn’t the piece of shit we made back in the 90s and I apologize for anyone who had to endure it,” she continued. “This movie is hella scary – and you guys please tweet that I said hella.
