After earning an Oscar nomination for his screenplay for “American Sniper,” Jason Hall is making his directorial debut with DreamWorks’ “Thank You For Your Service,” a war film starring Miles Teller as an Iraq War veteran dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder. Based on the non-fiction book of the same name by David Finkel, “Thank You For Your Service” stars Teller as Adam Schumann, a soldier struggling to readjust to civilian life after his service in Baghdad.
