Yesterday, Sony and Marvel continued to stoke the flames of excitement for their superhero team up with a new Trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Having your friendly neighborhood web-slinger join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (or McU) not just for this hybrid production and last year’s Captain America: Civil War, but for all McU outings going forward is a big deal. Still, you have to nail the standalone film first. If that movie doesn’t work, then you’re really nowhere with the character, despite a promising debut last spring.
