Se7en is arguably the best film that David Fincher has ever created. While his portfolio of excellent films is pretty wide Se7en was probably his darkest and most chilling film of his career. I’m going to argue that’s the reason why his new show Mindhunter has been created it. Think about it. If his best work was the movie Se7en, it would make sense that he would now create a television show about an FBI agent who is investigating serial killers and rapists. This is just a theory, but I’d be willing to bet that Fincher is most proud of
