Eli Roth shot onto the horror scene in 2002 with Cabin Fever and quickly became a sort of new authority in the horror world. A lot of that probably has to do with him being one of the most enthusiastic and knowledgable talking heads on the great Bravo mini-series The 100 Scariest Movie Moments. That combined with the release of Hostel turned him into a household name faster than any horror director in recent memory. That said, in the last few year's Roth's career has been a bit uneven.
