Continuing with highlights of films set to screen at Paff next month... Previously titled "Black South-Easter," "Cold Harbour" is a South African crime thriller starring Tony Kgoroge, Fana Mokoena (maybe the most recognizable to USA audiences), Yu Nan, Deon Lotz, Thomas Gumede and Zolani Mahola. It's directed by Carey McKenzie, and produced by Tendeka Matatu. The film opens with the mutilated body of a Chinese man that washes up on a Cape Town beach. For township cop Sizwe Miya (played by Kgoroge), this is an opportunity to prove himself and earn the promotion he desperately needs.
